Item 1: Voting  of Nicholas Miller to the Santa Barbara Vintners Board of Directors

o   Stephen Janes, President of the Board of Directors sent following e-mail to make a motion to vote Nicholas Miller to the Board of Directors:

Dear Board Members:

I would like to propose Nicholas Miller to the open Board seat.  He is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Miller Family Wine Company.  He and I spoke about the Board’s Expectations and the time commitment involved.  He seems very up to the task and wants to be involved and help.  His concerns and priorities for our organization also align with our most recent Strategic Plans.

I would like to make a motion via email to Elect Nicholas Miller to join the SBV Board immediately.  Please respond Reply All with an “Aye” or “Nay” so we can track your respective votes.
