Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm

Theme: Red Bordeaux! Single variety or blend...as long as it is Red Bordeaux grapes!

Rules of Engagement for Vintners:

• Every tasting has a theme (Burgundy varieties, Bordeaux varieties, Rhone varieties, Sparkling, etc.).

• Members who produce wine within the theme bring THREE BOTTLES.

• A limit of 2 different wines per winery please.

• Wines must be from fruit grown in SBC.

Tasting protocol:

• This is a self pour event, but please arrive on time (or 10-15 minutes early if you are providing wine)

• Attendees will taste the wines blind. A tasting card will be provided for attendees.

• We will reveal when everyone is done tasting.

• Since the spirit of these evenings is built around educating our membership, we hope that participating wineries will come prepared to discuss the wine they brought that evening and how they farmed and /or produced it.

Timing:

• 5:30pm - 5:45pm: Arrive and deliver wine for bagging

• 5:45pm - 7pm: Taste the wines

• 7:00 - 7:30: Wines are revealed and discussed
