Can you lend a hand?
On Monday, July 28, Direct Relief would like our help to pack 4,500 individual hygiene kits, some of which will be reserved for the Santa Barbara Vintners Foundation to distribute to farmworkers.
Shift 1: 8:30am-11:00am
Shift 2: 12:30pm-3:00pm
They are requesting 20 people per shift. The packing will be done at Direct Relief HQ at 6100 Wallace Becknell Road. Can you spare a few hours in the morning or afternoon? If so, please sign up here!

Lompoc Old Town Market Ag & Wine Night
Friday, July 25th 5pm-8pm
The Old Town Market, a staple of Lompoc summers, provides a unique platform for artisans and craft vendors to showcase their talents and creations and provides an opportunity for local community-based organizations and non-profits to highlight the amazing work and resources they provide for Lompoc. This year, July 25th has been designated as Ag & Wine Night, inviting locals to Sip Lompoc.

The Texsom Team is working hard to finalize details for the conference, and registration will open soon. Full Conference Passes will be $525 and include a choice of seminars and lunch each day, full access to all six EXPO tastings, and admission to the Diversity & Opportunity Reception, Authors' Meet and Greet, and Grand Tasting and Awards Reception. Sample mouthwatering chowders from top local restaurants, sip on craft beer and wine and vote for your favorite bowl. The museum (a non-profit) is seeking wineries to pour at the event. Gunpowder Press invites poets to get inspired by Santa Barbara County food, drinks, restaurants, and agriculture for a forthcoming anthology edited by Santa Barbara Poet Laureate, George Yatchisin.
