Lompoc Old Town Market Ag & Wine Night
Friday, July 25th 5pm-8pm
The Old Town Market, a staple of Lompoc summers, provides a unique platform for artisans and craft vendors to showcase their talents and creations and provides an opportunity for local community-based organizations and non-profits to highlight the amazing work and resources they provide for Lompoc. This year, July 25th has been designated as Ag & Wine Night, inviting locals to Sip Lompoc.
The events benefit the Chamber of Commerce - click here for a vendor application. Sip Sip Hooray!

Emergency Preparedness
We all know that we work with sometimes dangerous conditions in the vineyard and cellar, and that accidents can happen at or near our tasting rooms. Minutes count, and someone can bleed out in as little as five minutes Uncontrolled hemorrhage is the leading cause of death for a trauma patient and with the ACS Stop the Bleed course, you’ll not only gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding but feel more empowered to intervene effectively.
If you are interested in participating in this 2-hour, complementary course, including some basic first aid, please contact Phil Carpenter. The organizers would like to see how many people may attend. Stop the Bleed. Save a Life.

A note from Jonathan Cristaldi
Wine Reviewer Jonathan Cristaldi was here last week, tasting all the SBC wines we gathered for his evaluation. He sent this note along:
"Earlier this year, I launched Cristaldiandco.com to cover regions outside of Napa; to highlight people, places, and wines I think the trade and consumers should know about. (I'm still the Napa guy at Decanter, but for everything else >> it's C&Co. Just wait until our Video Podcast launches later this summer. It's gonna rock and roll.)
I'd like to extend an advanced 50% off discount code for a Cristaldi & Co subscription.
The code is: SBC50NOW (Expires Saturday, May 31st).
Another subscription, damnit? Think of it like this:
- Like Decanter, Spectator, Advocate, Dunnuck, Suckling, and Vinous, our scores and reviews live behind a paywall. Why:
- A subscription grants you the right to use our scores and reviews in all your marketing materials. What else:
- It counts toward time spent visiting SBC.
- It pays for assistance in rapidly polishing and preparing the report for publication.
- It grants priority access to send more wines for review over the calendar year.
- Critically, it supports our journalistic independence to review wines.
To subscribe, simply head here: https://cristaldiandco.com/subscribe/
