Why does this matter?

Current FMR rates may not reflect the true cost of housing in San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara County, potentially limiting housing assistance for families who need it most. This study will provide HUD with real-world data from our community to ensure Section 8 housing voucher amounts adequately serve local residents.
